Destemmer and rollers sorter

The new unit VEGA R combines the efficient destemming action of ” Vega” destemmers with an accurate berry sorting performed by ROLL SELECTO.

Destemming and sorting done by a single UNIT and with a double advantage: reduction of overall size and single stalk disposal.
Once destemmed, the berries are conveyed to the ROLL SELECTO located on the lower end.
Through the high speed rotation of the two sections of rollers, the sorter allows to separate the berries from all unwanted parts, such as stalks, leaves, small fragments.

    Main features
    • Structure enterely made of AISI 304 stainless steel.
    • Interchangeable holed cage that allows to process any kind of grapes.
    • Wide range of holed cages available both in AISI 304 stainless steel and in Polyethylene.
    • Destemmer shaft equipped with stainless steel pegs and adjustable rubber paddles on the ends.
    • Speed adjustment of destemmer shaft and sorting rollers by means of Inverter.
    • ROLL SELECTO Sorting Table is made of two sections of rollers: one of fixed type that has the purpose of separating the berries from the vegetable waste and the other one made of specially shaped rotating rollers.
      The latter allow the sorting of whole berries and the removal of unwanted parts.
    • The obtained must is collected into a special tray placed under the rollers.
    • Il Roll Selecto can be removed for washing operations.
    Options
    • Feeding Hopper available in two versions: hopper with screw (VG 10 TC), or draining hopper (VG 15/25 TD).
    • Inner washing system.
    • Must collectrion tray with filtering grid.
    • Single hopper for must collection when grapes are mechanically harvested.
    Innovative details

    Holed cage
    Wide range of holed cages available in AISI 304 stainless steel and Polyethylene. Stainless steel cylinder available in various holes diameters.

    Adjustment System
    Roll Selecto allow any adjustment without need to stop the processing line. In order to optimize the configuration of the unit according to the treated grape variety, you can adjust:
    1. The distance among roller axes
    2. their rotation speed.

    Control panel
    Equipped with all controls to manage the destemming-crushing system, including power switch for destemmer shaft and rollers speed adjustment

    Fast disassembly for easy cleaning
    Roll Selecto allows the removal of the side casings, simply by releasing two lever closures.

    Moreover the possibility of tilting the slides on the edges of the rollers, allows to perform all the maintenance and cleaning operations.
