CRUSHER DESTEMMER FOR BIG CAPACITIES
The VEGA PRIME crusher destemmer for big capacities is a winery equipment that combines the efficiency of destemming and the gentleness of crushing. It guarantees maximum respect for the integrity of the grapes. It is designed to handle any grape variety, even under difficult or mechanical harvesting conditions, while maintaining high levels of reliability and quality.
Thanks to its flexible and configurable design, the VEGA PRIME allows destemming and grape crushing in a single winery equipment. This reduces space requirements and optimises the winemaking process.
The holed cage is available in different perforations. The beater shaft has adjustable spatulas that enable effective separation of the grapes from the stalks. In this way, the winemaking equipment ensures a gentle but efficient action.
Technical features
The VEGA PRIME destemmer has an AISI 304 stainless steel frame, which guarantees resistance and durability.

- Integrated destemming and crushing in one machine, reducing processing time and ensuring gentle treatment of grapes.
- Adjustable beater shaft: equipped with stainless steel pegs and food-grade rubber spatulas.
- Beater shaft rotating at a variable speed that ensures gentle separation of grapes from stems.
- Automatic internal washing system of the perforated drum to avoid interruptions during the process.
Options
- Interchangeable perforated cylinder, available in stainless steel or polyethylene, with a wide range of perforations to suit different types of grapes.
- Single hopper available
- with chute
- draining (TD) with motorized auger for must drainage,
- long version (TDL) for increased drainage capacity.
- Partial destemming with a system that opens the draining surface by pneumatic piston.
- Optional four-roller crusher with adjustable food-grade rubber rollers to prevent crushing of grape seeds. The crusher can be configured to work in three modes: destemming and crushing, destemming only or crushing only.
- “Air System” kit option for processing mechanically harvested grapes, which allows holes clogged by plant-derived materials (MOG) to be cleared.
