STALK SHREDDER

The FRAGMENTA stalk shredder is widely used in wineries where stalk disposal is particularly challenging and costly. Thanks to its advanced technology, FRAGMENTA allows a drastic reduction in the volume of stems by up to 75-80% compared to the initial volume. This greatly simplifies disposal operations.

The FRAGMENTA winery equipment is typically installed at the end of the stalk evacuation line, a modular line that can be configured according to the specific needs of the winery. It can include transport systems such as aSPYROstalk aspirator and screw or belt conveyors.

This grinder also has applications in the food industry, allowing the crushing and shredding of tubers and roots, such as ginger and turmeric, making it a versatile product.

The Fragmenta Plus is the only stalk crusher that can be connected directly to the outlet of VEGA destemmers. With a capacity of approx. 4,000 cuts per second, it reduces the volume of stems by up to 85%, guaranteeing a significant reduction in the amount of pile to be disposed of.
