MOHNO PUMP
MONOSCREW PUMP
The Mohno progressive cavity pump is ideal winery equipment for transferring whole, destemmed grapes and fermented grape marc. The product is conveyed into the stator by a screw. It is then pushed by a helical rotor into the outlet pipe. This generates a high pressure (up to 5 bar), perfect for applications requiring high operating heads.
This volumetric pump is particularly suitable for transferring delicate products such as destemmed or fermented grapes, ensuring soft treatment without aeration. The progressive cavity pumps are self-priming, valveless and guarantee a constant, pulsation-free flow, ideal for medium viscosity products.
Technical features
- AISI 304 stainless steel construction for the rotor, drive shaft and pump body, ensuring durability and strength.
- NBR stator for optimal sealing and resistance to treated liquids.
- Standard clamp connection with possibility of customisation according to customer requirements.
- Suitable for viscous liquids, perfect for destemmed grapes, mash or fermented grape marc, offering gentle treatment.
What elements form the Mohno progressive cavity pump?
- Control panel equipped with:
- Push buttons for switching on and off.
- Selector switch for reversing pumping direction.
- Thermoregulator for temperature display.
- Emergency button.
- Main switch.
- Hopper with motorised screw for constant product flow.
- Supplied with three metres of cable and three-phase plug for immediate use.
Key Features
- Constant flow ensures no pulsation, without agitation or aeration of the product.
- Self-priming, ready to use with no priming required.
Options
- Possibility of adding a level sensor to automatically check the product in the hopper and monitor its filling.
- Support trolley equipped with load-bearing frame with handle and wheels (two fixed and two swivel with brake), for easy movement in the cellar.
